How to Repent

He preaches a good sermon but the fact in my mind is that the word Jesus used, which is translated "repent", is "metanoeo", which means to think differently, to reconsider.

That indicates a changing of your mind, which leads to a changing of your actions. Methinks we've already got a bunch of folks around who decided to stop something but still think they'd like to do it again, and still think it's really ok if they do.

The thief in handcuffs may be sorry he got caught, and he may not steal any more, but he sure didn't repent.

I do agree with this. I was also excited to see someone actually attempt to focus on the need for repentance!
