A Southern Baptist Mistake?

Folks, you have to read this blog entry by Mark Dever:
http://blog.togetherforthegospel.org/2006/08/southern_baptis.html

This is not just a Southern Baptist mistake. This is going on everywhere. Seems Southern Baptists just made it official. The Body of Christ, His Bride, The Church, has turned into a social club that bills itself as a hospital for sinners. It is NOT. It is where the Body of Christ comes together to Worship God and encourage believers.

This is a telling quote from Dever:

"Of course there are hypocrites in the church, but they shouldn't be there with our approval. We should ourselves be constant repenters and trusters in Christ. We should not aid unrepenting sinners in their own delusions of being saved. "

This quote includes staff, preachers and teachers in the church. Are they shepherds or hirelings?

John 10:

11"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
